| Welcome again my friends. I trust you are all enjoying your summer. As the annual VSDA show approaches, the porn world is heating up as fast as asphalt in the noonday sun. I know you're probably busy with the cold beer and hot dogs, so I'll get right to all the news of the month.
What would a column be without a Jasmin St. Claire update? Last month, we confirmed that Jasmin had signed on with Metro. This deal may have been the shortest contract in porn history. In a storm of will-she or won't-she Bukkake controversy, Jasmin called it quits. A spokesman for the always interesting ex porn star says that she is making a transition from smut to wrestling.
I'll be setting up an interview to get the whole story soon.
As a lifelong SoCal resident and Laker hater, I have to take my hat off to the guys in purple and yellow for their world championship. I also have to shake my head in shame at the stupid, inbred fucks breaking shit and burning cop cars. Was I the only watching who thought that if God had a sense of humor, the fucking cars would have blown up?
Think of the good it would have done, killing and maiming every worthless last one of them. I'm all for improving the gene pool.
With Jasmin gone, Metro has signed new blonde Nicole Sheridan.
I told you last month that they were looking to lock the tall babe up last month and she's already got a Bukkake vid lined up. It's about time they signed a good looking blonde as a contract girl. Now, when does Wendi Knight finally get her deal?

Sin City has announced their latest contract coup. Jessica Drake has inked a twelve month deal that will put her pretty face on a number of box covers. She has already shot her first movie and will be anchoring the Sin City booth at the VSDA show. Look for an interview with this lovely young thing as soon as I can set one up.
As of this writing, Linda Thoren is still one of the most sought after free agents on the market. After a year with Sin City, Linda made an impressive appearance in John Leslie's latest Voyeur flick. A much rumored deal with VCA has apparently fallen through, leaving Linda free to work for whoever she wants. Any company that snags this sweet Swede should count their lucky stars. She's fantastic.
Seymore Butts has long brought us some of the best smut on the market. The man who has carried the gonzo banner for nearly a decade is branching out. With the release of "Squirters 2" Seymore is offering an educational video. The tape gives information on the G-Spot and female ejaculation. So pop up some popcorn, get the lube ready, cover the couch and invite your favorite girl to watch as Alisha Klass, Montana Gunn, Taylor Hayes, Allison Embers, Jewel Valmont, and Taren Steel show us all how it's done.
For the last couple of months, I've been hearing that VCA is on the short list of companies looking to sign super hot little Haven. I talked to someone over there and this source says that no such contract is in the works. Someone is bound to sign this cutie, so stay tuned to find out who wins the race for Haven.
One thing that is happening at VCA is the next Ginger Lynn movie. The third film of her comeback is a return of sorts. Ginger will star in Antonio Passolini's "New Wave Hookers 6." Fans of the blonde legend will never forget her scene in the original. This star studded flick is bound to be one of Passolini's best and gives us a change from Ginger's last two flicks, both directed by Veronica Hart.
Elegant Angel is going to have to find someone new to shoot Rookie Cookies. Cookieman David Luger has found a new home with Plum Productions. His new series will be called "Sweet Treats." Though it will still focus in on new girls, Luger hopes to make a run at the big boys with this new line.
Last month, I reported that Rush Limbaugh was being considered for a spot on ABC's Monday Night Football. Well, no such luck for writers of fat conservative jokes. Comedian Dennis Miller will be joining Al Michaels and hall of famer Dan Fouts for the broadcasts. I can hear it now, "He throws deep, it's a fucking touchdown, babe."
Luke Ford got some very bad news this month. The folks at sex.com have sued Luke for fifty million dollars. I'm sure there will be plenty more to talk about in the months to come. What I want to know is what is Luke doing to make him worth fifty big ones? I think I'm in the wrong business.
DVD fans have a couple of good reasons to be happy this month. Two of the last holdouts have finally started releasing their titles on the new format. Anabolic hit the scene with ten titles that all look fantastic. Some of our favorite lines, (Gang Bang Girl, World Sex Tour and Up Your Ass) are among the early releases. Extreme Associates also finally got their first DVDs out.
In addition to the hard core action, the Extreme discs have some nice bonus material including a day in the life at Extreme. That's enlightening entertainment.
Now, before I let you all go to enjoy the fireworks and beach parties, it's time for the third annual Rog Reviews Top Twenty Porn Star List. This is a list of women who I consider to be at the very top of their profession. To be on this list, a woman must have been in at least one movie released since July of last year. There are some big names at the bottom who were rule ineligible this year because they either didn't do a movie, or did only one that really can't be counted.
For those of you who are not familiar with the history of this list, Samantha Stylle is the two time defending champ. I have also listed in paranthasis last years raking for each woman.
