| LOS ANGELES, CA: Once again we set out to cover the only adult film industry award show that means a damn thing. The 2001 F.O.X.E. (Fans of X-Rated Entertainment) Awards Show #10!
This years Fan Favorites awards winners were: Kim Chambers, Jill Kelly, Bridgette Kerkove, Mr. Marcus (who expressed his appreciation for receiving the fan accolade by thanking video companies Anabolic, Vivid, Sin City and
Wicked) and Randy Spears were honored at the downtown Mayan Theater. Winner of the Video Vixen award and keeping her winning streak intact, was Tera Patrick from Digital Playground. She had a bit of a potty mouth on her at the event, but she'll "mature" soon enough in this industry.
When accepting her award for Fan Favorite, Jill Kelly stunned the crowd by announcing that she will be retiring from performing next year. But we all know what that means. Break for a year or two and then make a "comeback"
video return. Kelly went on the say to the crowd of over 300 fans, "Thanks for six and a half years of a great ride. I won't be performing in videos but you can still get videos from my company. Support your local porn star!"
Fan favorite herself and Talking Blue TV supporter, Christi Lake, acted as mistress of ceremonies for the evening's varied entertainment including porn stars performing strip tease performances, as well as music acts (Josie and the Pissants and LAMF) and wanna be comedians.
Highlights of the show were when Selena Steele, who performed at the F.O.X.E. awards ten years previously, returned this year to perform a striptease and present the "Vixen" award to Tera Patrick.
Porn stars Selena Steele, Tina Toy, Alicia Rio, Keisha, Ruby, Nakita Kash,
Anita Cannibal (who took a double dong dildo down her throat that put Howard Stern's Kubasa Queen to shame), Nina Whett and others all performed stripteases to the approval of the fans.
Other porn performers present to engage in the night's festivities and greet fans included Kiki D'Aire, Lynn LeMay, Brooke Hunter, Coral Sands, Max Hardcore and Bill Margold's new talent discovery, Dove!
Rumors on the floor, were that this was the last F.O.X.E. Awards Show, and it definitely was the biggest and best. Hopefully they were only rumors.
